What is euro nymphing?
Euro nymphing is the use of a long 10 – 10 ½‘ 2-4wt flyrod that is usually a mid to full flex rod providing large amounts of tippet protection.
Strike Indicators are replaced with a colored section of line referred to as sighter material. Light tippet allows flies to reach depths quickly without being pulled from the riverbed by the influence of the top water currents.
The use of weighted flies cuts through the faster currents allowing flies to get down to depth faster, stay there longer and drift more naturally also allowing for quicker and better strike detection.
Space is limited to 10 students per class to offer more direct guide/student ratio.
